Arzano is once again facing a sign of strength from the Camorra. Late this afternoon, a procession of five motorcycles, with about ten men aboard, passed through the Piazza Cimmino area. According to initial reports, all were wearing full-face helmets.
The group, with the roar of their engines and maneuvering among the cars, would have taken Via Pecchia and then disappeared into the alleys of Via Napoli.
“Muscles” on the streets despite the rain and the match
The incident occurred at a time when, despite the rain and the Napoli match on TV, there were still people in the street. This move is being interpreted as a kind of intimidation and open defiance, further fueled—according to reports—by the absence of law enforcement patrols in the area at the time.
The investigation: hunt for faces from the cameras
The investigation is now focused on identifying the participants. Investigators are acquiring and reviewing footage from public and private video surveillance systems along the march's route.
The Coppola Murder and the Leads Under Examination
Tensions remain high in the area following the murder of painter Rosario Coppola, which occurred two days ago. The possibility of a blatant case of mistaken identity has not yet been ruled out. However, investigators are also investigating other avenues, including Coppola's possible refusal of a "wrong" request, such as a painting job commissioned—according to this investigative hypothesis—by circles close to the local Camorra.
Meanwhile, we await the magistrate's order for an autopsy, a key step in clarifying the timing and manner of the attack.

It's deeply worrying that the Camorra is making its presence felt again in Arzano. The presence of motorcycles and men wearing helmets is creating a sense of insecurity among residents. We hope law enforcement can do something about it.
