Arzano: Mayor receives no-confidence motion, signed by 14 city councilors.

Arzano – Yesterday, Mayor Cinzia Aruta formally withdrew her resignation, which she submitted on January 20th. Today, the city councilors sent her home.

This afternoon, 14 city councilors, including some from the majority, collected signatures at a notary's office, expressing no confidence in the mayor and thus decreeing the dissolution of the city council.

We now await official confirmation and the decision of the Prefect of Naples, who, having acknowledged the resignation of the majority of Arzano's municipal councilors, will have to appoint a commissioner to manage the ordinary administration and guide the municipality of Arzano towards new elections.
