Calvizzano, 51-year-old man arrested for abusing his family

Naples – Police officers from the Mobile Squad have executed a warrant for the arrest of a 51-year-old man, who has been definitively convicted of domestic abuse. The order, issued on February 13th by the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office, was notified yesterday.

The man, originally from Naples, will serve a sentence of 6 years and 6 months in prison for crimes committed in Calvizzano in 2019. Following the formal procedures, the 51-year-old was taken to prison, where he will serve his sentence for serious episodes of violence and abuse committed within his home.

This man's situation is very sad. Domestic violence is a serious problem and should not be underestimated. I hope the authorities continue to do their job to protect victims.
