Riots on the pitch, threats, and assaults during a Promozione match in the Caserta area. Months after the incident, Caserta Police Chief Andrea Grassi issued two bans (daspo) for a total of three years against two managers of ASD Casapesenna Calcio, deemed responsible for serious conduct that compromised public order.
The incidents date back to last fall, during the match between ASD Casapesenna and Città di Brusciano, played at the Graziano Papa Stadium in Succivo. During the first half, one of the officials was sent off from the bench for repeated protests and insults directed at the refereeing team. Despite being sent off, the man allegedly entered the pitch, threatening and insulting a photographer from the visiting team, even slapping and punching him.
At the end of the match, according to investigators' reconstruction, the same manager, along with another club representative, allegedly invaded the pitch again, continuing with aggressive and offensive behavior. The tensions fueled a reaction from the visiting fans, who began shouting at the opposing team and attempting to climb over the stands to reach the opposing fans. Stadium staff had to intervene to restore calm.
The atmosphere was such that the refereeing team, at the end of the match, asked to be escorted to the entrance to the highway for fear of further attacks.
Investigations conducted by the Caserta Police Headquarters' Anti-Crime Division, with the support of the Carabinieri of the Sant'Arpino Station, led to the issuance of two orders banning access to all sports facilities, in Italy and abroad, where football matches, including friendly matches, involving the ASD Casapesenna are held.

I think the incidents described are very serious and should not happen during a match. Violence in football is unacceptable, especially from officials who should be setting an example. I hope the authorities take serious measures.
