An event venue in the heart of Caserta has been placed under criminal seizure by the State Police and the Guardia di Finanza as part of checks ordered by the Police Commissioner to verify the safety of public establishments.

The operation, conducted yesterday by officers from the Administrative Police Division of the Police Headquarters and soldiers from the Caserta Group of the Guardia di Finanza, revealed serious security violations.

The violations found

Upon inspection, the premises were found to be completely devoid of fire extinguishers, in violation of regulations regarding the possession of explosive and flammable materials and workplace safety. The irregularities were subsequently investigated by the Fire Department, who confirmed the seriousness of the situation.

The seizure is part of a broader joint enforcement effort to monitor public establishments, aimed at protecting public safety and security, in line with the directives of the Ministry of the Interior and the Department of Public Security, which are being analyzed by the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security.

Fines and suspensions in the province

During the same operation, administrative fines were imposed on the owners of two other public establishments, one in Caserta and one in San Nicola la Strada. The Police Commissioner also suspended the license of a bar in Villa Literno, which, based on information provided by the Carabinieri Territorial Command, was deemed a frequent haunt of criminals.

Control activities will continue in the coming days with increased services, with the aim of preventing situations that pose a threat to public safety and ensuring compliance with safety regulations in all premises in the province.

It's truly strange that there are no fire extinguishers in such an important venue; this could lead to dangerous situations for everyone's safety. The police are right to monitor this, but I hope everything is resolved soon.
