They allegedly turned residential burglaries and robberies into a fully-fledged organized crime operation, with almost office-like hours and hits carried out in various provinces of Campania. For this reason, four Albanian men were tracked down and arrested by the Caserta State Police, following an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office.
The investigation, conducted by the Flying Squad, stemmed from a burglary that occurred on the evening of November 1st at the home of a well-known professional in San Leucio, in the Caserta province. From that incident, investigators reconstructed the existence of a structured group, believed to be responsible for numerous burglaries at private homes. On several occasions, it emerged, the burglaries escalated into full-blown robberies when the owners were at home.
The investigations revealed a precise and repetitive modus operandi. According to the evidence gathered, the group operated primarily between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM, avoiding Sundays, as if following a sort of fixed schedule. This organization, according to investigators, allowed for dozens of incidents to be carried out in various parts of the region, also fueling a network for receiving stolen goods.
Given the circumstantial evidence and the real risk of escape, the Prosecutor's Office has ordered the four men to be detained on suspicion of the crime. They are now at the disposal of the judicial authorities. The investigation continues to determine any additional responsibilities and to reconstruct in detail the receiving network connected to the robberies.

It's incredible how this article talks about theft and robbery as if it were a normal job. How can anyone possibly think that someone could do these things every day? I hope the police do something more.
