The streets of Crispano remain under military scrutiny for their efforts to combat drug trafficking. During a patrol of the area, Carabinieri officers from the Caivano Company's Mobile Radio Unit made another arrest, confirming the widespread nature of their patrols in the northern Naples area.
The patrol's halt
While passing through the city center, the officers' attention was drawn to a figure already known to law enforcement records: 49-year-old Anna Tango. The woman's behavior, encountered during routine patrols, prompted the officers to proceed with an immediate inspection.
The "little treasure" in your pockets
The Carabinieri's hunch proved correct as soon as the search began. Twenty doses of narcotics were found in the woman's pockets, a mix of crack and cocaine, pre-packaged and ready for retail sale.
In addition to the drugs, the officers seized €390 in cash, divided into small denomination banknotes, believed to be the proceeds of sales that had occurred shortly before the arrest.
The provision
The woman was immediately arrested. All the material found, including drugs and cash, was seized. The operation is part of a broader plan to combat small-scale drug dealing that the Caivano Police Company is vigorously pursuing to restore safety and legality to the streets of the municipality of Crispano.

It's important that law enforcement continue to carry out checks to ensure street safety. But sometimes I wonder if these arrests are truly effective in stopping drug sales, or if they're just a temporary solution.
