Frignano – Death threats against his live-in wife to obtain money: a 50-year-old man from Frignano, already known to law enforcement and believed to be a drug addict, was arrested this morning thanks to the intervention of the Carabinieri of the local station.
The threats and the extortion demands
According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction, the incident occurred inside the couple's home. The man allegedly verbally assaulted his wife, demanding money and even threatening to kill her. The terrified woman promptly called for help.
The intervention of the Carabinieri and the arrest
The Carabinieri of Frignano intervened immediately, arresting the 50-year-old and putting an end to the ongoing violence. After the usual formalities, the arrested man was taken to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he will be held by the competent judicial authorities.
The charges are domestic violence and extortion. The investigation is ongoing to verify any previous incidents.

This is a very bad episode; you can't behave like this towards your own wife. Death threats are a serious matter, and anyone who does these things must be severely punished because it's unacceptable. I hope the woman recovers soon.
