The away stands won't be empty. During the Atalanta-Napoli match, scheduled for February 22nd in Bergamo, the stands reserved for Napoli fans, barred from the away match by decision of the Interior Ministry, will be occupied by children, youth from football schools, and people with disabilities, along with social organizations.
The initiative was promoted by Atalanta and received the full support of the Ministry of the Interior. This decision changes the face of a restriction, transforming it into a symbolic message: no hostile chants, no tensions, but young voices and enthusiasm.
The Interior Ministry's order banned Napoli fans from traveling to away matches, a measure adopted as part of a safety assessment. The risk was that an entire section would be deserted, a common sight in Italian football when restrictions of this kind are implemented.
The Bergamo club has instead decided to fill those stands with a diverse presence, focusing on inclusion and participation. The stated goal is to send a clear message against all forms of violence and reaffirm that the stadium can and must be a place of loyalty and friendship.

I agree with you, but I have doubts about how the real fans will react and whether the atmosphere will be positive. I hope this is a step towards a healthier culture in football.
The initiative seems right, but I don't know if it will actually lead to change. Children can't replace real fans. Let's hope this decision brings only positive things and not problems in the future.
