Sant'Antimo - 26 people are under investigation in the investigation into the pact between the three clans: the heirs of the Ranucci, Puca, and Verde clans, who in recent years have divided the illicit business between Sant'Antonimo, Casandrino, and Grumo Nevano.

Within this perimeter, the precautionary order signed by the investigating judge Anna Tirone of office 17 of the Naples court places extortion of entrepreneurs and traders, management or control of economic activities, reinvestments and government of the territory also through alliances or armed opposition, describing a system that aims to produce profits and support families and prisoners.

Ranucci Clan: Regency and Operational Chain

According to the prosecution, the "Ranucci clan" is linked to a historical lineage (first Geremia, then Stefano) and, during the period in question, to the figure of Domenico Ranucci as leader/organizer and "regent" after his release from prison: a role described as one of daily command, from the management of illicit activities to the collection and redistribution of proceeds, up to the mediation of internal conflicts.

According to the investigating judge's account, a "ground" structure operates around the regency: some suspects are identified as operatives for extortion, weapons, and drug dealing; others are identified as attendees at meetings and recipients of directives, with roles including shielding and thwarting investigative activities.

Specific roles: Alfè Antimo and Grillo Costantino as operational managers during the regent's detention (focusing on extortion, weapons, drug dealing, and the distribution of proceeds); D'Isidoro Mario, Reale Marco, Verde Pasquale, and Arena Antonio as participants who attended meetings and received/carried out instructions; Morrone Vincenzo with a profile tied to weapons procurement; Barretta Raffaele with activities aimed at evading investigations (including damaging video cameras); Gulotta Claudio with the procurement/supply of vehicles through rental companies and acting as "emissary" of messages.

Intersections with Puca and Verde: alliances and "hat"

The order does not describe the three clans as monads: instead, it highlights a system of relationships that, depending on the phases, oscillates between alliance and opposition, with the Ranucci regency which – according to the prosecution’s perspective – also engages with the Puca and Verde groups to maintain balance in the territory.
For the "Puca clan", a regency is outlined under the leadership of Antonio Perfetto, motivated by the detention of top figures, with tasks of distributing the proceeds, managing disputes and coordinating illicit activities, maintaining relations with other local gangs.

The idea of a "cap" fits into this framework, that is, a common fund fed by extortion proceeds (as reported in the text), which would become the point of connection between the three groups: money collected "on the territory" and then distributed according to criminal agreements.

Extortion as a lever of control

Extortion incidents are used to strengthen the associative structure and coordination between groups, with requests for money linked to construction sites and local economic activities.
An extortion attack on a car rental business in Grumo Nevano: after an initial higher demand, the amount was apparently "revised" to €3.000 and paid in several installments, with additional payments made during the holidays.

An extortion attempt against a businessman (construction sites in Grumo Nevano), attributed to multiple attacks and pressures, including through emissaries, with the event failing for reasons beyond the control of the suspects (as formulated in the head).

A request for €10.000 to a construction contractor (Sant'Arpino): here the text explicitly includes the destination to the "hat", linking the proceeds to the division between Ranucci–Puca–Verde.

A financial claim against a real estate company, with an initial request of €18.000 (of which €5.000 was paid) and subsequent "reminders" regarding other construction sites, always with reference to the "cap".
