Caivano– A night of tension and mystery in the ASI industrial zone of Pascarola. While negotiations between owners and unions remain stalled, the Harmont & Blaine headquarters was targeted in a nighttime raid that raises serious questions.
The Carabinieri of the Caivano mobile radio unit intervened in the early hours of the morning, finding the company premises ransacked.
The raid and the scientific findings
According to initial reports, the criminals managed to gain entry to the facility by bypassing the surveillance systems. Once inside, their focus was not only on the stolen goods—the value of which is still being determined—but also on ransacking the administrative offices.
The Castello di Cisterna Investigative Unit arrived on site to conduct technical and scientific investigations. Carabinieri specialists are meticulously analyzing every trace left by those responsible, while the military is reviewing video surveillance footage from the ASI area to identify the commando.
The matrix puzzle: vandalism or signal?
At this time, investigators are not ruling out any possible leads. While the theft hypothesis remains on the table, the underlying cause of the event is being carefully evaluated, given the delicate situation the company is currently experiencing. It remains unclear whether this was a common petty crime or whether the act may have been connected, even indirectly, to the climate of exasperation pervading the plant's gates.
Dispute stalled: 32 families holding their breath
The raid comes at one of the darkest times for the Caivano production site. The union dispute over the announced layoffs of 32 workers is ongoing and shows no sign of resolution. Despite repeated discussions held at the Naples Prefecture, the parties remain distant: on one side, the company's need for restructuring; on the other, the workers' resistance fighting for their jobs in a region already deeply affected by the employment crisis.
Last night's episode, therefore, only adds fuel to the fire of a social situation that the institutions are struggling to manage.

The situation is truly complicated, and it's clear that the tension between the parties isn't helping. It's important that a solution be found before the situation worsens further. I hope there will be some progress in the near future.
