A brutal attack, committed in broad daylight along the Domitiana, led to the reporting of three young people to Castel VolturnoThe military of the Carabinieri Territorial Department of Mondragone, at the end of a thorough investigative activity, reported the three at large, holding them jointly responsible for aggravated personal injury, illegal possession of objects capable of causing offence and aggravated robbery.

The facts date back to February 24th and occurred at the distributor Coppola Petroli, where a 24-year-old local man was first intentionally hit by a Fiat Panda and then immediately surrounded and violently attacked. According to the Carabinieri's reconstruction, the young man was punched, kicked, and struck in the head and body with an iron club, before the attackers stole his cell phone.

Rescued and transported to Pineta Grande Hospital, the 24-year-old was treated in the emergency room and discharged with a thirty-day prognosis for the serious injuries he sustained.

The investigation, launched immediately, allowed the police to quickly identify the alleged perpetrators, all very young and already known to law enforcement. The investigation also revealed a connection to a previous incident that occurred on February 23 in Pinetamare, at the Miramare Café bar, where a young man, the brother of one of the suspects, was seriously injured during an altercation. This incident, according to investigators, fueled a spiral of retaliation that culminated in the violent beating the following day.

The three young men have been reported to the competent judicial authorities, while investigations continue to clarify any further responsibilities and reconstruct in detail the sequence of events that transformed an argument into a punitive expedition.
