Castel Volturno – Another drug dealing crackdown in the problematic Pinetamare area. Carabinieri officers from the Mondragone Territorial Unit have reported three young men, aged between 21 and 28, caught with a significant quantity of narcotics ready for sale inside the "Royal Residence" residential complex.
The operation was triggered after careful observation and tailing by the Carabinieri. Once sufficient evidence was gathered, the Carabinieri raided the apartment of one of the three individuals—already known to law enforcement—and found a 21-year-old man with a criminal record.
The house search uncovered and seized several prepackaged doses of crack, cocaine, marijuana, and hashish, weighing more than 40 grams in total. Along with the drugs, officers found and seized €1.050 in cash, believed to be the direct proceeds of illicit drug dealing.
Following the investigation, the three young men—all residents of the area or its immediate vicinity—were reported at large to the competent judicial authority on charges of production, possession for the purpose of trafficking, and dealing in narcotics.
The operation confirms the Carabinieri's ongoing commitment to combating drug trafficking in Castel Volturno, an area repeatedly targeted by investigations for the presence of organized drug dealing centers, as demonstrated by recent major investigations involving the "Royal Residence" and other facilities on the Domitian coast. Investigations are continuing to verify any links to more structured networks and to identify other individuals involved in the drug trafficking chain.
