Weekend of tight controls in the Neapolitan nightlife area, where the State Police has intensified its presence among the chalets of Mergellina e Largo SermonetaThe operation is part of the prevention and safety activities implemented to monitor the busiest areas during the evening and night hours.
Officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue, with the support of the Local Police, thoroughly combed the area, conducting numerous identifications and checks. During these operations, 320 people were identified, 64 of whom were already known to law enforcement through criminal records. The investigation also extended to road traffic, with checks on vehicles and drivers that revealed several violations.
At the end of the operation, twelve traffic violations were reported, confirming the goal of strengthening enforcement and ensuring greater safety in one of the city's busiest areas. Checks will continue over the coming weekends, with particular attention to nightlife areas.
