Tight security was deployed between Sant'Antonio Abate and Gragnano, where Carabinieri officers from the Castellammare di Stabia company combed streets and vehicles in a targeted operation that led to the arrest of three young men.
The most serious case involves an 18-year-old man stopped driving a Fiat 500X. He admitted to officers that he had never held a driving license. A subsequent search of the vehicle, however, revealed a far more troubling detail. A 9mm blank pistol was found in the glove compartment, missing its red cap and with the barrel visibly tampered with. The seized weapon was complete with a magazine containing three rounds. The young man was charged with both driving without a license and unlawful possession of weapons or objects intended to cause harm.
Two other young men, both in their twenties, got into trouble during the same checks. One was stopped while driving a vehicle despite never having obtained a license. The other was found in possession of a switchblade, which also led to him being charged.
The operation is part of a broader patrolling effort by the Carabinieri to combat dangerous behavior and the possession of potentially offensive objects, with particular attention to young people. Checks will continue in the coming days in the most sensitive areas.
Naples Police Headquarters continues to conduct extraordinary checks against drug trafficking in the city's most sensitive areas. The Porta Capuana area has once again come under police scrutiny, where a man was arrested last night following a turbulent operation.
A 49-year-old Moroccan man, already known to law enforcement, was arrested on charges of possession of narcotics with intent to sell and resisting arrest. Officers from the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station located him on Via Carriera Grande while, according to the reconstruction, he was carrying out several drug sales with an accomplice.

The article talks about tight controls between Sant'Antonio Abate and Gragnano, but I don't understand why there are so many young people without licenses. It's strange that they're finding weapons in vehicles; it must be a worrying situation.
