He was caught selling a dose of drugs for money in the center of Boscoreale. Officers from the local Carabinieri station arrested a 43-year-old man from Scafati, already known to law enforcement, on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking, possession of an unlicensed weapon, and possession of ammunition.
The operation began in the afternoon during a routine territorial patrol. The officers noticed the man handing a package to a buyer and receiving cash.
Immediately stopped for a check, the 43-year-old was found in possession of nine doses ready for sale as well as a sum of money believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The B&B transformed into an operational base
The investigation continued shortly thereafter at a local bed and breakfast, which the man had used as a base for preparing the drug.
Inside the room, the Carabinieri found everything needed to package the drugs: cutting powders, dividers, dispensers, plastic bags, a vacuum packing machine, and approximately one hundred grams of hashish.
Clandestine pistol hidden in the room
During the search, an even more serious element emerged: a pistol with its serial number erased, complete with a loaded magazine and ammunition, was kept in the room.
The weapon was seized along with the narcotic and the material used to prepare the doses.
Following the formal procedures, the 43-year-old was arrested and transferred to prison, where he remains at the disposal of the judicial authorities pending further decisions.

This article talks about a man who was arrested in Boscoreale, but I don't understand why all this happened. Drugs are a serious problem, but the authorities should do more to prevent similar situations. Let's hope there are more controls.
