San Vittore del Lazio – A suspicious car, three men with specific criminal records, and a ready-to-use technological kit for clearing out apartments or businesses. This is the scenario the Carabinieri of Cervaro encountered during a routine check in San Vittore del Lazio, which resulted in the filing of charges against three Georgian citizens aged between 19 and 36.

The control and the hi-tech kit

The officers' attention was drawn to a car driving suspiciously through the town. Once the vehicle was stopped, a search confirmed the officers' fears.

Inside the car, a veritable arsenal of burglary tools was found: not only traditional break-in tools, but also a jammer. The latter is a particularly insidious electronic device, used by organized gangs to "jam" alarm system frequencies and disable car central locking, making thefts quick and silent.

the three all domiciled in Naples

The three occupants of the car, all resident in Naples and already known to law enforcement for property crimes, were unable to provide any plausible justification for possessing such equipment. Investigations also revealed that one of the individuals is an illegal immigrant.

In addition to being reported at large to the Cassino Prosecutor's Office for unauthorized possession of altered keys or lock picks, the trio has been subjected to zero tolerance: the Carabinieri have initiated the process to issue mandatory expulsion orders. If the order is upheld, the three will not be allowed to set foot in the Lazio municipality again for the next three years.

This is very interesting news, but I believe there's a security problem in our country. I don't understand how people with criminal records can roam freely. It's right that the authorities take stricter measures to prevent theft and crime.
