An unusual flow of cars, concentrated and silent, set off alarm bells along the internal roads between Marsico Nuovo and Paterno. Vehicles, mostly from the provinces of Naples and Avellino, were taking secondary routes to evade checks, leading the Carabinieri to Carabinieri Company of Viggiano to intercept a rave party in the process of being organized.
The destination was the former Powder Magazine of Padula, an area of historical interest on the border between Campania and Basilicata, identified as a meeting point for an unauthorized gathering. The control device was immediately activated, with the activation of the Carabinieri Company of Sala Consilina, competent for the territory, while on the Lucanian side a tight filter was set up along the main access routes.
The operation allowed several participants to be stopped before they reached the rally site. During the checks, five ecstasy pills, eight grams of MDMA, and approximately forty grams of hashish were seized. Two young men, aged 22 and 20, from the Naples and Avellino areas, were charged at large.
The intervention effectively prevented the rave from taking place, avoiding risks to security and the protection of an already sensitive area, both environmentally and historically. Once again, the clandestine organization was betrayed by that anomalous and coordinated movement, which, instead of going unnoticed, led the military directly to the heart of the operation.

It's interesting how law enforcement intervened to stop the rave party. But I wonder if it was really necessary to shut everything down. Perhaps there are different ways to handle similar situations without resorting to seizures and stringent controls.
