Another day of passion for those who have to move in the gulf of Naples, where strong winds are severely impacting maritime connections. Shipping companies have ordered the cancellation of numerous high-speed ferry crossings to Ischia e Procida, making travel difficult for both residents and commuters.
The gusts that persist on the stretch of sea have also led to the suspension of several connections on the route Procida-Pozzuoli, increasing uncertainty for those who relied on rapid travel between the islands and the mainland. This situation has now been cyclically repeated during the winter months and has rekindled the issue of the fragility of connections in adverse weather conditions.
At the moment the ordinary connections remain confirmed for Ischia and the departures scheduled from Porta di Massa toward the two islands, but the situation is being monitored closely and could change during the day. Meanwhile, a relentless wind is blowing across the gulf, turning the sea into a difficult boundary to cross.

The transportation situation in the Gulf of Naples is truly frustrating, especially when strong winds cancel services. Commuters and residents need more stable and safe solutions, especially in winter.
