Carabinieri officers from the Frignano station completed an environmental inspection operation this morning, February 18, at a local construction site. They caught two men collecting non-hazardous hazardous waste—specifically, rubble and waste material—without the required administrative permits.
Both operators were reported to the police for violations of environmental regulations, specifically regarding waste management.

The investigations immediately initiated by the Carabinieri allowed them to reconstruct the construction chain and the responsibilities associated with the waste management. The investigations highlighted alleged irregularities that led to the referral of two additional individuals:
The client of the construction works
The owner of the company responsible for waste disposal
Both were reported for having managed waste on their own behalf rather than on behalf of third parties, in violation of the current regulations regarding authorized disposal.
Seizure and measures
As a necessary measure to prevent the continuation of the crime and allow for further investigation, the Carabinieri seized the vehicle used to transport the materials. The administrative and judicial authorities were promptly informed by the Frignano station, which confirms its ongoing commitment to construction sites and production activities to combat illegal waste disposal and safeguard the environment of the Aversa countryside.
