Naples – Another tense night in Fuorigrotta, where the weekend nightlife turned into a theater of juvenile violence. A few minutes after midnight, the bars on Via Lepanto were the scene of a violent brawl between young people, culminating in the use of a knife. Only chance prevented the fight from erupting into bloodshed.
The Wild West in fast food
The alarm was raised around 00:30 a.m. inside McDonald's, a key meeting place for hundreds of young people from the Phlegraean Fields area. According to initial reports, a group of teenagers, aged between 16 and 17, got into a heated argument that quickly escalated into a physical fight. Shouting, shoving, and panic spread among other customers in the restaurant, many of them families or peers unrelated to the incident.
The stabbing and the near tragedy
At the height of the brawl, the situation nearly escalated. One of the youths involved allegedly pulled out a knife, attempting to stab a peer from the opposing side. The blow struck home, but fortunately missed the victim's flesh: the blade merely tore through the victim's jacket, causing no injuries. A miracle, considering the frantic nature of the scene and the presence of numerous terrified witnesses.
Hunt for those responsible
The Carabinieri of the Bagnoli Company (PMZ) responded promptly to the scene, alerted by calls to 112. When the officers arrived, the situation had partially dispersed. At this time, no injuries have been reported requiring hospital treatment.
The Carabinieri immediately launched an investigation to identify all the participants in the brawl. Investigators may also be examining video surveillance footage from the venue and surrounding area, which could be crucial to identifying the person who wielded the weapon and clarifying the often trivial motives that triggered yet another episode of urban violence.

I read that the situation in Fuorigrotta is very serious, but I don't understand why young people have to behave this way. Violence never leads to anything good, and we need more education among young people.
