Multiple facial trauma and discharge with poor prognosis

The young man underwent medical tests and suffered multiple facial injuries, likely involving the same attacker. The injuries found included a fractured nasal bone, a contusion, and a sprain to the face and neck. The thirteen-year-old was discharged with a 20-day prognosis.

Who knew the minor?

For now, it hasn't been ruled out that the two knew each other, a possibility that the police are examining as a possible corroborating factor in their reconstruction of the events. It hasn't been ruled out that the argument may have originated from a trivial disagreement that later escalated into violence.

Carabinieri from the Melito police station responded to the scene and began an investigation to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident and identify the perpetrator. They are also examining testimonies from any passersby and video surveillance footage from the McDonald's area.
