Rome – Loyalties put to the test, dreams shattered by the reality of the street, and a destiny seemingly written in blood. Tomorrow, Friday, February 6th, the curtain falls on Gomorrah – The Origins, the Sky Original series produced by Sky Studios and Cattleya that recounts the genesis of Roberto Saviano's criminal legend. The highly anticipated season finale will be available exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW.
Peter and the final choice
At the center of the final act is a very young Pietro Savastano (played by Luca Lubrano) suspended between the desire for a future with his Imma and the violence of the world to which he has chosen to belong.
The plot thickens when Angelo 'A Sirena suffers a devastating attack. Blinded by revenge, Angelo seeks an unlikely ally, but the failure of his plan forces Pietro to make a dramatic choice to save his life. Meanwhile, in the shadows, 'O Paisano moves the final piece in a strategy aimed at undermining the Camorra's long-standing balance of power.
The loss of innocence in a changing Naples
More than a simple crime drama, this series was a journey into the "loss of innocence." The story takes us back to the years when Pietro was not yet the feared boss of Secondigliano, but a boy driven by overweening ambitions and overwhelmed by a mad love for Imma (Tullia Venezia).
In the background, a Naples in full transformation: the poor, dusty city of cigarette smuggling, unaware that the arrival of heroin would soon change the face of organized crime forever.
A cast of new faces led by Marco D'Amore
The project saw the return of a key figure in the saga: Marco D'Amore. The unforgettable Ciro Di Marzio served as artistic supervisor, co-writer, and director of the first four episodes, then handed over to Francesco Ghiaccio for the grand finale.
The series' success also rests on a cast of talented young people and outstanding character actors: from Francesco Pellegrino (Angelo) to Flavio Furno ('O Paisano), to Fabiola Balestriere's touching performance as a young Annalisa Magliocca, destined to become the ruthless "Scianel." Alongside them, a host of supporting actors portray an entire generation "eaten up" by the streets.

The article is very interesting and offers a unique perspective on Gomorrah. However, I think the plot is a bit confusing in some places, but overall it's a well-done piece and deserves to be seen by everyone.
