Naples – Late yesterday evening, Carabinieri officers from the PMZ and the Stella Operations Unit arrested two Moroccan citizens, aged 26 and 31, on charges of attempted murder.

The two, both illegal immigrants and homeless, were arrested in Piazza Leone shortly after stabbing a 28-year-old compatriot, born in 1997, who was also illegal and homeless.

After the attack, the alleged perpetrators attempted to flee, but were intercepted and apprehended by officers after a brief chase. Both were placed in handcuffs and are now in jail awaiting trial.

I read the article and it seems to me that the situation is very complex. Two people arrested for murder, but they are also illegal immigrants. This leads us to reflect on how to manage immigration and security laws.
