Yesterday evening, the State Police arrested a 16-year-old Neapolitan for illegal possession of narcotics. Officers from the Vasto-Arenaccia Police Station, conducting a territorial patrol, observed a scooter being driven at high speed while driving on Via Padova. Upon seeing the patrol, the driver accelerated further, ignoring the officers' order to stop.
A chase ensued through the neighborhood streets: during his escape, the young man made several dangerous maneuvers until he reached Via Nazionale, where he collided with a passing car. After the collision, he abandoned his scooter and attempted to flee on foot, but was quickly caught and apprehended by officers.
During a check, the 16-year-old was found in possession of 11 packages of marijuana, 9 packages of hashish, 26 packages of cocaine, 24 packages of crack, and €140 in banknotes of various denominations, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. The minor was subsequently arrested and handed over to the competent judicial authorities.

Last night I read about this boy's arrest. I don't understand how a minor could be involved in such serious matters. This is a worrying situation for our society, and I hope something effective is done to help him.
