Naples, approximately 1:00 AM. Carabinieri from the Vomero branch responded to Via G. Gigante 1/B following a report of an alleged argument involving a 37-year-old woman.

The reconstruction of the facts

According to the police, the woman had been walking her two dogs shortly before when a man on a scooter, traveling the wrong way, nearly hit her as she was crossing the street. Frightened, the 37-year-old attempted to photograph the vehicle's license plate.

At that point, the scooter driver, described as very young, stopped and ordered her to delete the image. Fearing for her safety, the woman fled the scene and took shelter inside a doorway.

After a few minutes, the man reportedly returned to the scene on another motorcycle carrying several young men. The woman again took refuge in the building's entrance hall, while the group reportedly partially damaged the glass of the front door, then quickly drove away.

The Carabinieri are investigating. They are still awaiting the victim's complaint.

Reading the article, I noticed that the situation was quite dangerous for the woman. Unfortunately, incidents of violence like these are all too frequent. It would be important for the authorities to carry out more checks to ensure everyone's safety.
