Naples – He had just completed a cocaine deal when officers from the Dante Police Station stopped him: a 47-year-old Neapolitan man, already known to law enforcement for specific drug-related crimes, was arrested yesterday evening in the Museo neighborhood, on Via Francesco Saverio Carrera.
What gave him away was the unmistakable scene observed by police officers during their patrols: the man handed something to a passerby in exchange for money. Officers intervened immediately, arresting both individuals involved in the drug dealing operation.
The 47-year-old was found with €145 in banknotes of various denominations, presumably the proceeds of the illegal activity. The buyer, however, was arrested with a bundle of cocaine he had just purchased.
The latter was given the administrative penalty for possession of narcotics for personal use, while the drug dealer faced arrest.

I don't know if it's right to always arrest people for things like this, but it's also true that cocaine is harmful and shouldn't be sold. I hope there will be more controls in the future to prevent similar situations.
