Naples – A burst of gunfire shattered the nighttime silence in the San Lorenzo neighborhood. Around 1:00 a.m., Carabinieri from the Mobile Radio Unit and the Stella Company responded to Vico Pergola Sant'Antonio Abate following a report of shots fired in the street.
The bullets in the house
Numerous shots were fired: at least three bullets hit the ceiling of a house, penetrating the interior of the apartment occupied by a 32-year-old woman. Coincidentally, no injuries were reported. The woman and the residents of the area panicked.
The Carabinieri have conducted ballistic tests and launched an investigation to reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident and identify the source of the armed attack. They are examining any video surveillance systems in the area and any testimonies that may be useful in identifying those responsible.

This article discusses a very serious incident, but I don't understand how it's possible there are still gunshots in the streets. The authorities should do more to ensure public safety and prevent incidents like this.
