Naples – A disturbing detail emerges from the social media of Jlenia Musella, the 22-year-old stabbed to death in the eastern suburbs of Naples. In one of her latest videos posted on TikTok, where the young woman loved to dance, a male figure appears behind her, seemingly holding a knife. It could also be an e-cigarette.

An image that today takes on a dramatic weight. Investigators are investigating whether that figure can be linked to his brother Giuseppe Musella, arrested overnight on charges of voluntary manslaughter.

Captured after hours on the run

Giuseppe Musella, 28, was tracked down and arrested by officers from the Naples Flying Squad after several hours on the run. The Naples Prosecutor's Office issued an emergency arrest warrant against him, which was served overnight by the prosecutor on duty. He is now in prison. He is accused of killing his sister Jlenia yesterday afternoon by stabbing her from behind with a knife.

The boy turned himself in to the police and confessed: "It was me." He did so in front of the men of the Naples Flying Squad who were chasing him and in front of the prosecutor Ciro Capasso of the Naples Public Prosecutor's Office.

On his social profile he appears with this emblematic image on a soccer field (he used to play) while making a gun gesture with his fingers.

The Musellas are related to the D'Amico Camorra family from the Conocal district of Ponticelli, where they also lived.

The rush to the hospital and the escape

According to the reconstruction so far, it was Giuseppe Musella himself who accompanied his sister, now lifeless, to the emergency room of Villa Betania Hospital. Bare-chested and behind the wheel of a small Fiat, he picked up the young woman and drove to the medical facility. With the help of two paramedics, Jlenia was helped out of the car. Immediately afterward, the man quickly drove away, disappearing without a trace.

The bloody car in Ponticelli

During the investigation, police found a vehicle in Ponticelli that matched the one seen at the hospital. Extensive traces of blood were found inside the car. Investigators, while maintaining strict confidentiality, are not ruling out the possibility that it was the vehicle used by Giuseppe Musella to transport his injured sister.

A difficult family relationship

The family background and the relationship between the victim and the alleged killer remain unclear. Some witnesses describe a stormy relationship, marked by frequent tensions and the 28-year-old's excesses. According to the accounts gathered, the 28-year-old would often ask for money, partly due to substance abuse issues.

Social media under scrutiny

Meanwhile, the victim's social media profiles have come under the scrutiny of investigators. Friends and acquaintances have posted messages and videos in her memory. Among them, the very TikTok video that could now become a key piece of the investigation: the image of a knife, appearing almost like an omen, now accompanying a story of bloodshed and a broken family.
