Davide Proto, a 26-year-old originally from Salerno and a student at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy in Bologna, has been found in Berlin. He disappeared from the Emilian capital on February 7th without receiving any news from friends or family.
Confirmation comes from lawyer Barbara Iannuccelli of the Penelope Association, who initiated the search with the young man's family. The investigation and searches involved thousands of people, with numerous reports coming in from various locations.
Ultimately, a photograph taken in Berlin proved crucial in tracking down the student, providing a happy ending to the story. The news of his recovery puts an end to days of anxiety for relatives and friends, confirming the effectiveness of the joint effort between associations, family members, and international reporting networks.

I'm glad he was finally found, but I don't understand why he disappeared in the first place. The situation must have been very stressful for his family and friends, and I hope he can now return to a normal life.
