Sarno – Justice is taking the first steps to shed light on the death of Carmine Albero, the 24-year-old worker who was the victim of a tragic workplace accident on Monday morning.
The Nocera Inferiore Public Prosecutor's Office has placed four people under investigation: a necessary step, necessary to proceed with the autopsy and the unique technical tests that will serve to crystallize the responsibilities for a tragedy that has devastated two communities.
The dynamics of the accident
The tragedy unfolded around 10:30 a.m. Monday in a workshop on Via Fiano. According to initial investigations by the Carabinieri Territorial Unit, Carmine was the victim of a fatal collision between heavy vehicles. A truck, driven by a 41-year-old local man, struck a parked tractor-trailer; the impact pushed the stationary vehicle forward, overwhelming and crushing the young man from Sarno, leaving him with no chance of escape.
The judicial front
In addition to the truck driver, investigators are also investigating the company's legal representative, the judicial custodian, and the workplace safety manager. The investigation aims to verify not only human error in the maneuver, but also strict compliance with accident prevention regulations within the area. The autopsy, performed today, will provide authorities with the necessary information to confirm the cause of death and the severity of the trauma suffered by the young man.
The pain and the final goodbye
As the investigation continues, Sarno prepares to gather around Carmine's family. The body, released by the judicial authorities after the autopsy, will return home for a final farewell.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 15:00 PM at the Church of San Francesco d'Assisi in Sarno. It promises to be a moving ceremony for a young man described by all as a hard worker, whose life was cut short too soon at work.

I'm reading the article and it seems strange to me how things happened, it seems that the safety rules were not respected. The family now needs comfort and the truth. Let's hope that justice is done soon and that those responsible are identified without too much fuss.
