Somma Vesuviana – A full-blown celebration, complete with neomelodic music, toasts, and even the soundtrack from the film Il Camorrista playing in the background. This is what reportedly took place in the past few hours at Fiordaliso Park in Somma Vesuviana, believed by several sources to be a historic stronghold of the De Bernardo family.
According to images and videos shared on social media and sent to Green-Left Alliance MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, a public celebration was held in the neighborhood to celebrate the release from prison of Roberto De Bernardo and Enrico La Vecchia, both believed to be linked to Camorra connections.
The footage reportedly shows widespread and public participation, with symbolic references to organized crime which, if confirmed, would amount to an open challenge to the institutions.
Social media direction and well-known faces
The celebration wouldn't be confined to the neighborhood. The content was shared on social media, helping transform the event into a public spectacle.
Among those present was reportedly TikToker Luca Formisano, already known for his participation in similar events. This detail would reinforce the impression of a communication strategy aimed at normalizing and dramatizing clan-related dynamics, projecting a message of strength and rootedness.
The releases and the shadows
According to Borrelli, the releases were ordered for health reasons and procedural issues. The individuals involved have been convicted of particularly serious crimes, including mafia association, international drug trafficking, extortion, and aggravated firearms offenses.
"I have been sent extremely disturbing images and information," Borrelli stated, "depicting a celebration organized to celebrate the release of individuals convicted of very serious crimes. If confirmed, what appears even more serious is the response of a certain community, which has allegedly transformed these returns into a public display of power."
The MP also speaks of dangerous social roots: "I was told that members of these circles had the ability to influence hundreds of votes and conduct electoral propaganda even under restrictive conditions. This would be a sign of widespread control of the territory."
The precedent of Sant'Anastasia
Drawing attention to the context of violence, Borrelli evoked the tragic ambush in Sant'Anastasia, when a ten-year-old girl was struck in the head by a bullet during an armed confrontation. "These are still open wounds for the entire community," he emphasized, "and represent the highest price paid for innocence."
«Applying the Caivano model»
Hence the appeal to the Government to take urgent action, taking as a reference the extraordinary action initiated at the Caivano Green Park.
"Fiordaliso Park today deserves the same attention and extraordinary commitment that the government is devoting to Parco Verde," the MP stated. "We can't wait for yet another tragedy to intervene. If we're talking about the 'Caivano Model,' we should truly apply it to other high-crime areas like Somma Vesuviana."
The final thrust is a warning: "The state must intervene massively, concretely, and visibly, returning these neighborhoods to honest citizens. We cannot allow entire areas to be perceived as free zones where crime can publicly celebrate and reassert its hegemony. Immediate action is needed, before it's too late."

The article highlights a worrying phenomenon in our country, and while there are issues related to crime, it's also important to consider the social context in which these events occur. The normalization of violence is a serious issue.
The images and videos reveal an alarming reality. It's necessary to reflect on the role of social media in this context, as they can amplify certain dynamics and expose behaviors that should remain hidden.
I don't know if it's right to celebrate the releases, but I think we should discuss how to address the situation. Institutions must be more present and listen to the community's requests to prevent similar events from happening again.
