Naples, 10:30 PM. Carabinieri from the Napoli Stella Company responded to Via Salita dello Scudillo, at number 41, following a report of gunshots in the heart of the Sanità district.

According to initial reconstructions, unknown individuals fired several shots at a municipal sign, specifically a board marking an area off-limits to pedestrians. The shooters then quickly fled, leaving no immediate trace.

21 holes and ongoing investigations

Twenty-one bullet holes were found on the scoreboard, but no shell casings were found on the ground. The investigation is ongoing: officers are verifying whether all the holes are attributable to this evening's incident or whether some are older. At this time, no injuries or casualties have been reported.
