The investigation into the devastating fire that burned down the Sannazaro Theater, in the heart of the Chiaia neighborhood, two days ago is also using technology. The Naples Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered the use of a drone to inspect the damaged structure from above and gather evidence to reconstruct the fire's dynamics.
Magistrates awaiting reports
Deputy Prosecutor Mario Canale and Deputy Prosecutor Antonio Ricci are coordinating the investigation, pending the reports from the judicial police—the San Ferdinando Police Station, the Police Headquarters' UPG, and the Fire Department—which will clarify the origin of the blaze. Among the hypotheses being discussed is that a short circuit may have caused the disaster.
Arson suspected, suspects unknown
For now, the case is open for negligent arson against unknown persons: investigators are not ruling out any leads and are proceeding, as they say in jargon, "through all avenues." The theater remains under seizure, as are several adjacent apartments, for which the occupancy of the buildings involved in the accident is still underway.

The fire investigation appears to be very complicated, and using a drone is an interesting idea, but I hope a solution is found quickly. The theater's situation is sad and needs to be clarified.
