Drugs ready for sale and money believed to be the proceeds of illegal activity. This is what the Carabinieri discovered during an operation in the neighborhood. Secondigliano, on the northern outskirts of Naples, which led to the arrest of Daniel Romano, 30 years old, already known to the police.
Officers from the local station conducted a house search at the man's home, finding several pre-packaged doses of narcotics. Specifically, they found twelve sticks of hashish and seven doses of cocaine, along with €95 in cash believed to be related to drug dealing. The thirty-year-old was arrested on charges of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking and transferred to a holding cell, where he remains awaiting trial.
During the checks, the Carabinieri extended the search to the common areas of the building. In the stairwell, five blocks of hashish were found, belonging to unknown persons, along with a .22 Beretta pistol that had been stolen during a burglary in CasertaThe gun and drugs were seized while investigations continue to identify any other culprits linked to the drug cache and the presence of the gun inside the building.
