The Carabinieri of the Afragola station arrested three people this morning, executing a pre-trial detention order issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples North. The very serious charges, brought at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, paint a picture of brutal violence: the three are seriously suspected of gang rape and aggravated stalking.
The group targeted a young local man with a disability, who was made a target because of his vulnerability.
An ordeal of violence and denigration
The investigation, supported by technical operations and wiretaps, revealed systematic criminal conduct. According to investigators' reconstruction, the suspects allegedly acted in concert, taking advantage of the victim's fragile condition to force her to undergo repeated sexual acts.
But the horror didn't stop with the abuse: for several months, the young man was the victim of outright persecution. The gang allegedly subjected him to constant physical and verbal assaults, punctuated by insults, insults, and derogatory acts aimed at demeaning him. The three have now been sent to prison.

Terrible news, but the article doesn't fully explain what happened or how the facts were described; there are missing details and testimonies that appear unverified. The victim should receive immediate help while justice takes its course, but those around him failed to protect him, and this is disturbing.
