Carabinieri from the Castellammare di Stabia station arrested Antonio De Luca, a 40-year-old local man who was already under house arrest, for possession and dealing in narcotics.
During their routine patrols, the officers carried out a check at the 40-year-old's home, returning to verify strict compliance with the restrictions.
Given the man's nervous and suspicious behavior, the Carabinieri decided to conduct a more thorough inspection of the home, along with the canine unit.
The discovery of the drug
The intervention of the drug-sniffing dog led to the identification of a block of approximately 100 grams of hashish inside the apartment, yet to be divided. Along with the substance, ten pre-packaged doses were found, ready for sale.
During the search, various packaging materials were also found—such as sachets and wrappers—and two precision scales, typical tools used by drug dealers to measure drugs. Three cell phones were also seized, believed to have been used by the man to coordinate drug deals.
House arrest transformed into prison
Following the evidence gathered, the Carabinieri arrested Antonio De Luca, releasing him from house arrest.
The man was taken to Poggioreale prison, where he is currently awaiting trial for illegal possession and drug dealing, aggravated by the fact that he was already subject to a restrictive measure.

I'm not sure what to think about this story. The police entered and found 100 grams of hash and various ready-made doses. The house looked like a laboratory, but no one explained why. Let's hope the judicial process is handled without favoritism or mistakes.
