A 49-year-old man from Campania, originally from the Campania region, was tracked down and arrested in Reggio Emilia after receiving a final conviction for sexual assault on a minor.
The arrest warrant was issued by the Attorney General's Office at the Court of Appeal of Naples and concerns events dating back to 2020, which occurred in the province of Caserta.
The sentence carries a prison sentence of three years and ten months, which the man will now have to serve in prison.
Identified during a territory check
The 49-year-old was tracked down last Thursday by officers from the Reggio Emilia Flying Squad during a territorial control operation.
Once identified, investigators executed the restraining order issued by the Neapolitan judicial authorities.
Transferred to the Reggio Emilia prison
After completing the formal procedures, the man was arrested and taken to the Reggio Emilia prison, where he will remain detained to serve the sentence established by the final sentence for sexual assault committed against a minor.

I've read it thoroughly, but the story seems confusing and poorly told. The officers did the right thing in checking, but I don't understand why certain proceedings are delayed. Justice must be swift, but above all, fair. There are few details on the facts, and more clarification is needed for the families.
