Caserta – The Carabinieri of the Caserta Company's Operational and Radiomobile Unit had noticed something unusual. During their routine patrol this morning, they observed a strange flow of people at the entrance to a building located in the city center. There had been too many back-and-forths, too many fleeting encounters for it to be simply routine visits.
The officers' curiosity turned into a concrete suspicion: that building was hiding something. The Carabinieri decided to investigate further, focusing on one home in particular, the one where a 49-year-old woman and her eighteen-year-old son lived together. Wasting no time, they launched an initiative search of the house.
The finding
Entering the apartment confirmed the investigators' fears. On the kitchen table, clearly displayed, were the tools of the trade: a precision scale and various materials for packaging the doses. But that was only the beginning.
Hidden in a closet was the real stolen property: approximately 440 grams of hashish, divided into blocks and sticks ready for sale, along with a small quantity of marijuana. A significant amount, indicative of a structured, rather than occasional, drug dealing activity. All the material was immediately seized and taken into custody by the Carabinieri, pending its filing with the evidence office.
Arrest him
The evidence gathered made the restraining order inevitable. Mother and son were both arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute narcotics. This incident highlights the tragic normality of domestic drug dealing, where blood ties become criminal complicity.
Once the formal procedures were completed, the two were transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where they will remain at the disposal of the judicial authorities pending the validation trial and the magistrate's subsequent decisions.

It seems very strange to me. The Carabinieri have seen so many steps forward and backward, too many fleeting encounters, and yet I don't understand how they can create a family like this. The mother and her 18-year-old son seem involved, but perhaps there's been a misunderstanding. The drugs are too much for mere consumption. The arrests seem correct but also confusing.
