Ischia – A massive territorial patrol conducted by the Carabinieri has covered the islands of Ischia and Procida, with results highlighting critical issues related to illegal vehicle traffic and the presence of individuals with criminal records. The officers identified 88 people, checked 62 vehicles and 6 boats, and reported four individuals.
Among the most notable cases is that of a 30-year-old man caught driving a Porsche that had been seized. The vehicle, equipped with Spanish license plates, was actually registered in Lithuania, a ploy that immediately attracted the attention of law enforcement. He was reported.
There were other notable incidents. A 45-year-old man was reported to the judicial authorities for theft, while a 21-year-old man—without a driver's license—attempted to evade checkpoints by fleeing in his car. Rounding out the list of reports, a second 45-year-old man was found in possession of a folding knife.

The operation on the islands seems to have been carried out, but many things don't add up; the car has Spanish license plates but is registered in Lithuania, people with criminal records, a knife found, and a young man without a license who runs away—all of this points to problems with traffic and controls that aren't always effective.
