According to reports, he managed to commit suicide after two failed attempts. The attack occurred last Thursday evening, when the 132 bus was traveling along Via Simone Martini, between the Vomero and Arenella neighborhoods. It seems like a sad and complicated thing to me, but the facts are not clear. Information is lacking: the man took his own life in hospital after his arrest; the injured woman was held hostage for too long, and the witnesses remain confused and with few explanations from the authorities.
