A 38-year-old Neapolitan man, already known to law enforcement, was arrested yesterday afternoon by the State Police on charges of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking. The operation was conducted by officers from the Decumani Police Station during a patrol in the Calata Santi Cosma e Damiano area, in the historic center.
During the check, officers stopped the 38-year-old and found him in possession of €3.100 in cash, divided into bills of various denominations. The investigation also revealed that the man was driving without a license, a violation he had previously been charged with and had subsequently reiterated within the past two years.
The search of the house
Suspicious of the situation, the officers decided to investigate further by conducting a search of the man's home. Inside the apartment, they found several items related to drug dealing.
Specifically, the police seized 28 bags of cocaine, weighing approximately 11 grams in total, as well as a package of marijuana. A precision scale and drug packaging materials, typically used to prepare doses, were also found in the residence.
Ammunition of various calibers was also seized.
During the search, illegally held ammunition was also discovered:
10 7.65 caliber cartridges,
a .22 caliber cartridge,
6 38 caliber cartridges.
For this reason, the 38-year-old was also reported for unlawful possession of ammunition, both for a common firearm and for a war weapon.
At the end of the operation, the man was arrested for possession of drugs with intent to sell. He was also charged with illegal possession of ammunition and repeated driving without a license.

I don't know... it seems strange, but I'm not judging. The officers did their job, but the details are confusing and seem missing. €3100 in cash, drugs, small bags, and ammunition were found, as well as repeated driving without a license. All this is unexplained. Citizens deserve more clarity and enforcement, without sensationalism.
The article talks about an arrest but seems incomplete and confusing. The facts are unclear. €3.100 seems like a lot, but we don't know how it was counted. The man was without a license and had bags of drugs and cartridges. The search was strange. Let's hope justice is served properly.
