The ambush and the injuries

SIM card blackmail
According to an initial reconstruction, still being examined by investigators and awaiting objective evidence, the man was approached by three individuals in the heart of the Scampia neighborhood. Their request was clear: to use his documents to register fictitious SIM cards, a practice often used by criminals to shield illicit communications. When the 33-year-old refused, the argument quickly degenerated into a savage fight.
Full-scale investigations
The Carabinieri are working to clarify the exact circumstances and, above all, the nature of the attack. The details of the victim's account and the identities of the three attackers, who fled immediately after the raid, remain to be verified. Other avenues are currently being explored, but the focus remains on the management of the illegal underworld linked to front men in the neighborhood.
