The Serie A match between Napoli and Torino isn't just a spectacle on the pitch, but also, too often, an opportunity to explore the fringes of chaos. The Carabinieri of the Napoli Bagnoli company know this well, having conducted a wide-ranging investigation in the area of the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium against the backdrop of the event.
At the end of the 90-minute meeting, the toll is quite heavy: one arrest, three complaints at large, and four people reported to the Prefecture for drug use.
The pusher among the parked cars
At the center of the operation was a 58-year-old man, already known to law enforcement, caught selling four doses of cocaine among parked cars. Officers apprehended him almost in the act. The man was arrested on charges of possession with intent to sell and, after the usual formalities, was placed under house arrest pending a summary trial.
According to investigators, the modus operandi was classic: the pusher moved between the rows of cars, taking advantage of the confusion and the access routes to the stadium to hook up customers.
Illegal parking and no return
During the checks, the Carabinieri also identified two illegal parking attendants, committing petty extortion, demanding money from fans for a "safe spot" among parked cars. The two were reported for illegal business and traffic violations.
The usual "uninvited guest" was also present: a man already banned from returning to Naples, caught in Piazzale Tecchio with a blue scarf around his neck. He was reported for violating the ban, aggravated by the fact that he was found in a particularly sensitive area, such as the stadium.
The 4 reports for drug use
Finally, the report includes four individuals reported for possession of small quantities of narcotics, believed to be for personal use. In these cases, the proceedings follow the administrative procedure, involving the Prefecture and possibly initiating rehabilitation programs.

The game was chaotic but normal, the police intervened but they didn't solve everything, the pusher walked between the cars and sold 4 doses, the illegal parking attendants extorted money, 4 people were reported, everything seems a bit confusing and more surveillance and prevention is needed.
