Pozzuoli – A targeted check by the State Police in the Phlegraean Fields led to the arrest of a 36-year-old Neapolitan man with a criminal record, found in possession of a stolen pistol.
The discovery of the agents in the bedroom
The operation was conducted yesterday by officers from the Pozzuoli Police Station, who decided to conduct a search of the man's home. During the search, the officers focused on the bedroom, where they found a semi-automatic pistol.
The weapon, found with the magazine inserted but without cartridges, was carefully hidden inside the room.
Subsequent investigations shed light on the gun's illicit origin: computer records revealed that the weapon had been stolen in a previous burglary. At that point, there was nothing more that could be done for the 36-year-old.
At the end of the operation, the man, who already had a criminal record, was arrested and will now have to answer to the serious charges of illegal possession of a firearm and receiving stolen goods.

I read the article and it seems strange to me. The whole operation was quick, but they don't explain well what the gun found was like. Were cartridges missing? And how could it have been stolen? There are too many unclear points. The police should explain more details and check the neighbors.
