Bonea – An electronic bracelet will no longer be used to monitor his movements. The Avellino Court has released PL, the 19-year-old from Bonea who was at the center of an investigation for aggravated stalking and assault against his underage ex-girlfriend and her family.
The judge granted the request of lawyer Vittorio Fucci, revoking the restraining order that required the young man to wear an electronic bracelet. This decision comes at the end of a legal case centered on a romantic relationship that ended badly and became, according to the prosecution, a nightmare for the young woman and her family.
The End of a Love Affair and the Beginning of Alleged Harassment
It all began with the decision of the girl, who was a minor at the time, to end her relationship with PL. According to the reconstruction, this action was motivated by the young man's extremely possessive nature, which went so far as to prevent her from going out with her friends and even her parents, going so far as to dictate what clothes she should wear, forcing her to remove those that were too tight.
After the relationship ended, however, the harassment began. According to the prosecution, the 19-year-old refused to give up and began bombarding his ex with messages, alternating threats with vicious insults. "Slut," "slut," "you're the worst of women," and "I hate you" are just some of the expressions he used toward the young woman. The harassment, via chat and voice messages, was apparently directed not only at her, but also at her brother and parents, who were equally targeted.
The most serious episode: the slap in public
The alleged escalation of violence apparently culminated on May 18th. The girl was in Montesarchio with friends and her brother when, according to the prosecution, PL approached the group. A fight ensued, during which the 19-year-old allegedly slapped his ex-girlfriend, causing injuries, and her friend. The young man also allegedly grabbed a chair and attempted to throw it at those present.
The victim's changed life
All of this behavior, from daily threats to physical aggression, would have plunged the minor into a state of constant anxiety and fear. The fear of running into her ex, as revealed by the investigation, would have forced her to radically change her lifestyle, to the point of no longer going out alone and requiring her parents to accompany her even to school.
The procedural turning point: the release from prison
Despite the seriousness of the accusation, this week the Court of Avellino opted to review the precautionary measure. Accepting the defense's argument, the judges revoked the restriction on approaching the suspect with an electronic bracelet, thus ordering PL's release. The decision overturns the previous restrictive measures and marks a new chapter in a legal case that continues to dominate the community of Bonea.

It seems to me to be a very complicated matter, with serious details, but at the same time legal decisions that leave room for doubt. The girl seems distraught and has changed her life, while the young man is free again. We hope that the trial continues and provides clear and definitive answers.
