Four businesses seized and dozens of checks conducted on the environment and road safety. This is the result of the operation conducted by the Metropolitan Police. Naples, through the Gaia group – Environmental Analysis and Investigations Group – engaged in a series of local inspections to combat irregularities in waste management and industrial discharges.
The first intervention was carried out in the municipality of Casola di Napoli, where officers seized a tire dealer's business. During the inspection, they discovered waste storage without the required permits, as well as wastewater discharge into the sewer system without the required permits.
A second measure was issued in the same area, affecting three premises connected to a blacksmith's workshop. Inside these premises, investigators found hazardous and non-hazardous waste, dumped illegally, without any permits for its management and storage.
The checks were then extended to other municipalities in the metropolitan area. PIMONTE A mechanical workshop was seized for the unauthorized discharge of wastewater and the presence of illegally accumulated waste. LetteringInstead, the seals were placed on a body shop where the officers detected several violations: failure to have an authorization for atmospheric emissions, unauthorized sewage discharges, and uncontrolled waste dumping.
In parallel with the environmental policing activity, the operators also conducted traffic checks. A total of forty vehicles were checked, and the irregularities found resulted in fines for violations of the Highway Code amounting to approximately three thousand euros.
The operation is part of the environmental monitoring activities scheduled during the "High Impact" days, initiatives aimed at combating illegal behavior that could harm the environment and public health.

I'm reading the operation and it seems like a necessary action, but I have several doubts about how and when the checks were carried out; the documents seemed missing and the officials didn't explain the measures properly. It seems confusing and perhaps there's a lack of coordination and clear procedures.
