Naples – Starting this morning, all canteens in Campania's 15 prisons will reopen for Prison Police. The suspension, ordered a month ago by the Campania Department of Prisons, was triggered by confirmed contractual breaches by the previous contractor.

Intervention by the Department of Education to ensure quality standards

This measure was necessary to ensure full compliance with quality, hygiene, and contractual standards. Now, with the procedures completed, the service resumes under strict supervision. The goal is to ensure efficient operation, compliant with current regulations and the needs of Penitentiary Police personnel.

Acknowledgements from the USPP: "The staff's high sense of duty"

The USPP union, through President Giuseppe Moretti and Regional Secretary Ciro Auricchio, expresses its gratitude to the staff of the Campania schools. During the month of closure, the staff ensured daily canteen service with a high sense of responsibility, maintaining order and internal security despite the difficulties.

It seems to me to be important news but also confusing because the reopening of the canteens does not explain the checks well, who carried out the checks and how, the procedures have been completed but they seem rushed, the officials worked very well but resources and practical solutions were lacking.
