An earthquake shook the island of this afternoon IschiaThe earthquake, of magnitude 2.6, was recorded at 15.26 pm by the Operations Room of theNational Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology – Vesuvian Observatory of Naples.
Immediately after the earthquake, a system of checks was activated throughout the area. The prefect summoned him to the Prefecture. Michele of Bari The Rescue Coordination Center will monitor any critical issues. Representatives of the Campania Region, the island's municipalities, the Vesuvius Observatory, law enforcement, firefighters, and healthcare workers attended the meeting.
Initial inspections, conducted by municipal technicians, civil defense volunteers, and law enforcement, revealed no problems. The Prefecture stated that there have been no reports of damage to people or property at this time, and no requests for assistance or assistance have been received from the public.
Despite the lack of reports, monitoring continues. Firefighters and technicians from the island's municipalities are continuing their surveys to rule out any possible risks related to the quake. The Prefecture of Naples and the Campania Region have also assured the island's mayors of their full availability to provide support should any emergency situations or civil defense interventions arise.

I partly agree, I live near the port and I felt the shock but for now I haven't seen any damage, however the checks should be more frequent, the mayors and the technicians have said that they will continue the reconnaissance but it will take time and attention.
I read the article about the Ischea and today's earthquake, and it seems that the checks have been started correctly, but doubts remain regarding old buildings that have not been inspected. The police and technicians have carried out reconnaissance, but some details may have been overlooked; the prefecture should remain alert.
