The military personnel of the Aversa Investigative Unit are executing precautionary measures against three suspects as part of an investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Court of Santa Maria Capua Vetere, headed by Prosecutor Pierpaolo Bruni.
The operation and the recipients
The measure concerns regional councilor Giovanni Zannini and entrepreneurs Luigi Griffo and Paolo Griffo, father and son.
According to the prosecution's hypothesis, the three are accused, to varying degrees, of the following crimes:
corruption in the exercise of one's function, material forgery in complicity and aggravated fraud in obtaining public funds.
The investigative context
The investigation by the Sammarinese Public Prosecutor's Office—relating to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere area—alleges a system of relationships between public officials and economic operators aimed at improperly obtaining public funding through documents deemed falsified or irregular.
The precautionary measures taken at this stage are based on the evidence gathered by investigators and will need to be examined in subsequent judicial phases.

I'm reading the article and it seems serious, but we have to wait. The three are suspected, and some names appear, but that's not evidence. The Investigative Unit said they found documents, but the documents could be falsified or misinterpreted, so the judge will decide not to pre-trial.
